How to Book Your Field Day
You are advised to pre-schedule the field day prior to completing the online course to assure availability in your area.
You can search for field day courses online at www.dnr.state.mi.us, and contact the instructor to reserve your seat. The Field Day consists of gun handling and a proctored exam.
Note: On the list of Hunter Education classes offered by the DNR, all courses offer a Field Day option for Internet students. Simply call the number provided for more information and registration.
You must bring a copy of your Field Day Voucher and a piece of valid ID to your field day.
Children who do not have their own ID may have their parents or guardians show ID on their behalf.
To complete the hunter education requirements for Michigan, you must pass the online and field day portions of the hunter education course.
