How to Book Your Field Day
Before taking the online course, you must first register for a Kansas Hunter Education Internet-assisted
Field Day scheduled no more than 90 days from completion of your Kansas Online Hunter Education Course.
You can view a current Class Schedule, and associated registration information, of Internet-assisted
Kansas Hunter Education Field Days online at www.kdwp.state.ks.us.
You must bring a copy of your Kansas Field Day Qualifier Exam Certificate to your Field Day. In order to receive
four hours (of the 10 hour minimum) required by Kansas law) you will be tested over the online course material.
The test will be administered at the beginning of the Field Day. A passing score of 22 correct answers, out of
a possible of 25 questions, is required to proceed with the remainder of the course. Students failing to achieve
the minimum passing score of 22 will be dismissed from the class.
To complete the hunter education requirements for Kansas, you must pass the online
and field day portions of the hunter education course.
